Official Launch of the Global EdTech Alliance of Alliances

Incubated by UNESCO‘s Global Education Coalition, the Global EdTech Alliance of Alliances met this past week in Paris at the annual coalition meeting for an intense all day workshop followed by the constitutional meeting of the alliance. This workshop and meeting brought together 30 organisations across 50+ countries, representing all seven global regions-  highlighting both the diversity and shared ambition within the global EdTech community.

The day focused on dialogue and interactive workshops around what makes successful ecosystems, the common challenges we face, and how we can collaborate more effectively at a global level.

A particularly strong theme was the importance of learning from both successes (and equally as important, failures!) to build a truly inclusive and impactful global ecosystem.

We are grateful to the entire UNESCO team who have given us so much support over the past three years in setting up this initiative and for ensuring the Global Alliance has a welcoming home.
